It seems to be drawn in Japanese. The panels and the dialog balloons seen to go from right to left in columns, the opposite of Western style and Roman characters. Some of the background sound effects seem to be Japanese word characters. I don't think that the dialog would be the same in Japanese, are there any Japanese curse words?
